m.s. RedCherries is a citizen of the Northern Cheyenne Nation. A graduate of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, her debut, mother, was the winner of the American Book Award and a finalist for the National Book Award.

She has received support and fellowships from Hedgebrook, Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) and Vermont Studio Center.
